Class of 2020

ALL NIGHT GRADUATION PARTY (ANG)

THURSDAY, JUNE 4, 2020

GRADUATION: 6:15 - 8:15 PM

ANG PARTY: STARTS AT 10:30 PM & RUNS ALL NIGHT

This will be the 33rd year that parent volunteers provide a safe, substance-free overnight celebration for the graduating class of Bedford High School. The new graduates will enjoy lots of food from local businesses and homemade items, incredible performers, hilarious games, and fun activities. Each year over 90% of graduating seniors attend. It’s a truly special event made possible by 150+ volunteers and the financial and in-kind support from the Bedford parent community.  In early 2020, watch your email and the BHSPA enews for detailed information about tickets for seniors and volunteer opportunities for parents/guardians.

Financial contributions are welcome now to help our All Night Grad Committee start their planning:

The ANG Committee seeks chairs or co-chairs for the Correspondence and Clean-Up positions!  Responsibilities for both the Correspondence and Clean-Up positions are shown below.  If you are interested in either of these positions or have additional questions, please email Dawn and Kerry at BedfordANG@gmail.com.  We are especially interested in welcoming new committee members with children in younger grades to minimize turnover!

ANG Clean-Up Chair (or Co-Chair) Responsibilities

Prior to the ANG party (takes place on the night of BHS graduation), the Clean-up Chair(s) meet with the Decorations Chair to discuss the plan for clean-up.  There is a large closet of supplies on the second floor of the high school.  These supplies and decorations are stored after each year’s party, and are re-used the next year.

In May, parents and guardians will be directed to a SignUpGenius link to volunteer to help with clean-up.  The clean-up crew is usually made up of the parents and guardians of graduating seniors.

On the morning after graduation, at approximately 5 AM, you will meet in the back gym with the parents who have volunteered to help with clean-up.  Clean up volunteers are given labeled storage containers, and put in teams to break down and store the decorations and supplies in the various parts of the school (cafeteria, foyer, front gym, hallways, etc.)  The volunteers bring the containers and supplies up to the storage closet where they will be stored back in the closet by the Decorations Chair.  The volunteers will also help with the picking up of trash and recycling in the party areas.  Clean-up is completed prior to the start of school, by 7 AM.
